Bold predictions for this season

Description
Having watched closely these last couple games, I'm gonna attempt to make way too early season predictions and hot takes for this season will play out.

1) Going back to last season, and following it up with the start of this season, Jack Cambell has been nothing short of spectacular. I predict he will get top 3 in Vezina voting this year and will go as far as to say he will win it.
2) William Nylander is continuing to make the old hockey geezers look like idiots. He will pot 40 goals this year.
3) Bunting will solidify his place on the top line with Matthews and Marner, and get 40+ points.
4) Rasmus Sandin will take a massive step forward this season and take sole QB over Rielly on PP1
2 Trade to look for this season as well
1) I can't see Rielly resigning here for less than 7 Mill, and I think walking him into Free Agency with no plan is a massive mistake. it would be a huge gamble to mess with the chemistry Brodie and Rielly have but, going through the teams, I cant find any that makes sense for both clubs. Potentially Rielly for Lindholm in ANA? both UFA's.
2) Depending on how everything goes in CGY, I would be blowing up Triellivings phone to ask about the price for Tkachuk. A straight Marner for Tkachuk makes sense for the leafs, however, CGY would be doubling down on skillset and would be losing Darryl Sutters favorite player. Could be a desperation move by Trielliving to save his job to, and Marner could certainly get them to the playoffs. Food for thought

I like it both would fit better in the others respective roles, tkachuck would add a much-needed grit and marner could become a consistent 100+ point guy with being the main guy on the flames.

Calgary has 300,000 in cap space. Doubt they take on ~4 mil in extra cap...

No shot Johnny resigns with Toronto. Hes either staying in Calgary or going to the metro so this makes no sense for Toronto.

Marner would struggle to hit 90 points consistently in Calgary, probably even 85. Let alone 100. Who's he going to pass to? The guy doesn't score goals

Leafs fans are funny.

Johnny has consistently proved hes not made for the playoffs. I don't think Leafs make that bet there

I guess you completely forgot they have Nylander and Matthews too. they have a surplus of skill, and the grit/edge that Tkachuk brings would be perfect for Matthews's wing. You know Tkachuk isnt a bum right? he could easily get 70+ points per season playing with Matthews.

Sean Monahan has had a couple 40 goal years, Gaudreau has had a couple 35 goal years,Dube and Mangiapane both have potential to be 25-30 goal guys.

Monahan's career high in goals is 34. Again, he definitely will not be a consistent 100 point player Gaudreau isnt and he is basically the same player
