Refusing an assignment says that to me loud and clear. I trust actions not words. His actions says me first! Looking at what he's done since being drafted is meh in the KHL and not even meh in North America

He has a European assignment clause in his ELC, choosing to go to the KHL over the AHL is his contractual right, he went the KHL last season, improved and had a great season then came to the NHL and played with nobodies, got no PP time and never complained, now he came into camp on the 3rd line and said nothing then out of nowhere he isn't even good eniugh to make the team? Hes being strung along and mishandled. Also its been said hes willing to take a QO and play on another teams AHL affiliate which should tell you that the AHL was never the problem its the Rangers/Hartford

But this KHL numbers are meh at best and what he's put up in N. America don't even rate a meh. Just because you can do something doesn't always mean you should.

Hes top 10 in all time U-21 KHL scoring and had an amazing season, the consensus around the prospect research community has been that his numbers don't match his talent because he had no finishers around him

He did, and it is unfair to say that he did not. Clearly you have no idea what you are talking about and are just chatting out of your ass, so I suggest that you retire from this conversation due to the reason that you are an idiot.

A player not being able to finish says nothing about the guy setting him up, he was among the league leaders in high danger chances created

We'll reports were he had a contentious exit meeting last year, mostly about his off season training habits, was told by teammates that ice time was earned, did not make the team echoed by Gallant himself. Kid is spoiled, entitled and lazy. The problem is Clark & previous co went for the home run and fell on their/Our faces and thinking classy Niclas Andersson's son would be the next Tikanen =(

That never happened, also there is 0 chance he wasn't good enough to make the team if Hajek is still there, hes being railroaded

Well I think you should go with reports in the post rather than hope. Lazy was temporarily sent down again, via Gallant and refused, again! Why lose a body to waivers just to bench him. Even if he sticks with another team, the long road to nowhere is a waste of energy. Can only hope for workable kid in return
