Goaltending is a very mysterious thing because a goalie can be hot in one year and then cold in the next year.

For that reason, Ottawa is better off with Matt Murray than Milan Lucic.

Especially considering we need to give up a fresh 2nd round pick and a recent 1st round pick just to make the swap.

Youre never getting Ridley Greig. He's gonna be a top 6 forward in the NHL

Yeah I don't get this deal for ottawa why are we giving up a 1round talent like ridley and a 2nd in this deal I wouldn't even do this 1 for 1 for murray.... calgary would need to add a sweetner for ottawa to take lucic for nothing in return

First rounder. He was over a point per game in the WHL as a 17 year old. 1.5 points per game as an 18 year old. One of the youngest players in the draft. Thats some serious production. He's looked great in preseason, scored a highlight reel goal.

Yes every point per game player in juniors turns into a top 6 forward

How bout you tell me why he won't be a top 6 forward lol
He doesn't look out of place on the NHL team and is only back in the WHL (where he's captain) because he cant play in the AHL, where he played very well.
His pNHLe has been 47, 65, 72, 52 (4 gp) over the past four seasons. I can easily see him being a 50 point LW/C in the NHL.
