Description
Jackets tank hard after some :wink: injuries and land the top pick. Shane Wright is coming to Columbus!

Kent been hittin the leg presses and lunges, eatin elk meat and bear grease and gonna be at 185 by the end of the season. He’ll sign in March and take Cleveland to the Calder Cup, and next year be a 1-2C and eat/work his way up to 195, which should be a good playing weight for his frame and skill set.

Bemström and Stenlünd go play in Europe.

Jackets make it to the cup final 4 out of the next 8 years.

    Why would you trade young players with some really good potential and a first round pick in a great draft for an old, declined Brent Burns? Especially when you make moves like a rebuilder. Don't rush the rebuild.

    Burns is still a 40-50 point dman. Sharks reject.

    He's 36 years old. He's already showing massive signs of decline. His offense and speed have declined quite a bit. He was decent last year, but nowhere near worth the contract he is on. 4 more years at an 8mil cap hit with a NTC. That is the type of contract the sharks would need to pay others to take, not be paid for.

    - Marchenko would get a 2 year deal, not 1;

    - I’d rather trade Laine then give him that contract;

    - A 1st for Domi and Nyquist is…let’s say optimistic. Team looked great the other night, but it’s a long season, and they played the Coyotes. If Domi looks like a 70-point guy, and Nyquist a 50-point guy, maybe. Then again, if those guys are playing like that, I wouldn’t be surprised if CBJ are higher in the standings and outside of Shane Weight territory.

    - Don’t want Brent Burns. I do not want 3-4 years of that contract.

    Canucks say no, Nyquist really isn't worth a first nor do we have the capspace or really spot for him

    Dude, what? Sharks would be lucky to get half that.

    Jets have $130,000 in cap space this year.

    If Laine won't sign for more than 2 years you're better off trading him

    This is about what I expect out of a ACGM that puts Wright as a 2C on a team needing a legit 1C.
