Anyone else tired of Kadri

Created by: BestGMBenning

Description
Might be bit of an overpayment or not on Hertl. I’ll let you decide that. But Kadri has time and again screwed over his own team for me to trust him. The only way that is fixed is if he has more discipline for his own playing style in the playoffs or if he is traded. He is heavily needed by his team and he fails them by getting suspended in the playoffs.

There are a lot of teams that could use Kadri, but the Knights aren't one. Kadri is a good 2nd line center, but the Knights have like 2 centers for that position and a potential one in Nolan Patrick. Adding another isn't really gonna help them.

Honestly, I can't see any playoff team wanting to add Kadri for exactly the reason you cite. Plus, he has a 10-team no-trade list. The Avs are stuck with him for better or worse.

If the Avalanche are tired of Kadri, I think the Leafs have a middle six center a lot of their fans are tired of. Maybe you could trade them for him. Maybe you've heard of him. Kerfoot?

Except he is a lot better on the wing than center and have already been there done that. No thanks.

No avs are not tired of kadri

Your description is just hating on him for no reason...also those trades are just brutal for the avs, just destroy their depth and future bc you want hertl over kadri for 20+ games

Sharks decline - none of the pieces in that trade do anything for us apart from that 1st which will most likely be super late in the draft. And it’s in ‘23 rather than ‘22 which makes it even less intriguing.

Look at it this way. Hertl is a playoff performer. Last time the Sharks made the playoffs he had 10 goals and 5 assists in 19 games. And all together he has 42 points in 62 games. That playoff production holds a lot of value meaning these are the necessary players to give up to go all in. And considering this is a good team I think Hertl would want to stay after this year.
