Description
For the purposes of this post, a draft bust is "a highly touted or highly selected draftee that does not meet expectations".


Rankings are based on how high the draft bust was selected.


If there is still hope for a draft pick from 2012 to turn things around, they are not included.


In order to officially declare a player as a bust, at least 5 years must have elapsed from the day of the draft in which such player was selected.


That means any decision on declaring a player that was drafted in 2017 or later would be premature.

I wouldn't exactly call Jankowski a bust, he's had some solid season with the flames, didn't really understand why they didn't qualify him

Knowing what has happened since then, where do you think he would be picked if the 2012 draft happened all over again?

In comparison to 21st overall?

This draft was awful, but at least the two best goalies in the NHL (Hellebuyck and Vasilevsky) came out of it
