I’m curious cause I don’t know if San Jose does this. Seems like a lot for no protection on the 2022 or 2023 picks. Guessing that’s also for Vlasic, but it seems like a lot.

Buffalo is gonna want more readily available talent. A 2024 1st rounder doesn't help all that much.

To get Eichel you've got to centre the deal around Meier or Eklund. Can't just throw a bunch of picks at them without at least one premium tangible piece.

The Sharks are literally one of if not the last team which should pursue Eichel. There’s just no reasonable price which is worth giving up our most valuable assets for.

A single first going anywhere for any reason is an instant no from me lol. So hard decline on this one

Not sure what part you're referring to, but a 2024 pick that won't be an impact player in the NHL until 2027 is not what the Sabres are looking for...
Sabres say no to pretty much any deal that doesn't include one of those two guys.

If those picks are unprotected then sure, but thats not usually how it works.

Buddy next 2 drafts have 4 yes 4!!!! A+ prospects.... translation 4 players that are expected to be Matthews (the last A+ prospect) good and the odds of Eichel magically making the Sharks good arent good. Youd be crazy to say no to this.... Like getting 2 chances at winning the lottery

If we are assuming these picks aren't lottery protected than yes. I was assuming lottery protection, but I guess you can't if you're trading picks for 3 years straight

he didnt have the picks protected in the trade. Wouldn't be the first time the Sharks didnt protect a pick

Do you have counterpoints? Any argument of your own? Or is the plan here to just distract by being snarky?
