FWIW both Daly and Bettman, Said that the salary cap will probably increase to $82,500,000 next year. And possibly $1,000,000 each for the next 2-3 years after.

Boeser’s qualifying offer is 7.5 so if Canucks really need to pinch pennies they could always do a 1 year deal for 7.5 million
