Description
So we all the bruins doesn’t have the cap space to fit eichel, but they will have it at the deadline, as of right now they have 6.4M in cap at the deadline wich mean we need only less than 5M to clear and make it work

Now we all know that if a teams want eichel they know he won’t be back for a few months depending when he does the procedure, so let’s say he’s doing it next week, he should be back in 5-6 months wich make March April, and with the olympics the season is ending a bit lather

But if Boston would want to get eichel it would be to win now, but it would not make sense to trade assets that play and contribute now and get a player who will miss 60 games that would make their chances to go in playoff really low,

So my proposition, is that Boston and Buffalo agree on a deal, that will only be effective at the TDL so that Boston can keep those players to get a better position in the rankings, Buffalo stay like they are so they don’t disrupt the lines, chemistry and keep thanking (funny because they outplayed MTL) and at the TDL the deal go through so eichel becomes a bruins, fit under the cap, and bruins get a really good players who’s not the best leader but being player like bergy, foligno will perform, eichel isn’t a captain, and Buffalo made a mistake by naming their best players captain when he’s not role as a captain

Eichel would be happy to be a bruins (native) and we fix a major hole that is happening in the Center line, maybe eichel with a new start will become more mature and develop better leadership but until then the bruins have the players to take that role for 2-3 years easily

I kinda like it value-wise, but that trade kind of trade should've been done during the offseason. Since Eichel's gonna be out for a while even after the trade, Bruins would be effectively shooting themselves in the foot in regards to this season, as they'd lose both DeBrusk and Studnicka from their roster for this year with Eichel also out for a while, meaning that there's a possibility for that 2022 pick to be a relatively high one, because there's a real possibility of Bruins dropping from the playoffs if Eichel's out for much longer.

But you've covered most of it in the description too, so it's all well. Still think a move as such would be more suitable as an offseason move rather than a deadline one.

Buffalo not interested in this. If they were it would have been done already.

The first piece has to be a high end, nhl ready or close to it, first line ceiling FW.

None there.

Jack Eichel isn't getting dealt in the division, especially not for those pieces. DeBrusk doesn't have much value and Moore is a cap dump and 2 late 1st round picks in the high 20's or early 30's should Boston win the cup. Yeah Boston doesn't have the pieces for Eichel and noway does Adams accept that. Studnicka doesn't even cut it.

Eichel to Boston would consist of Carlo Lysell debrusk studnicka and 2 1sts going back to Buffalo not the cap dump of John Moore

I've done this before, But I gave them Carlo and DeBrusk and picks, I don't think Studnicka has much value, he's soon to be 23 and hasn't done anything.

Gee, it's not really compliant with McAvoy getting a 4.5m raise next season Sure Bergeron is a UFA, but I don't think this works for the Bruins.
