What would you give the Flyers if Claude Giroux wanted a trade to Ottawa

Created by: sensonfire
Team: 2021-22 Ottawa Senators
Initial Creation Date: Oct. 16, 2021
Published: Oct. 16, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
If Giroux wants a trade to Ottawa and only Ottawa, I wonder if Pierre Dorion could pull off a trade like the one Boston did for Taylor Hall.

Given that Giroux has a NMC and Hall used his NMC to allow only a trade to Boston.

I literally just told you that it was not a rumor but speculation from a Flyers reporter. The rumor (or whatever it is) is the other quote

Damn, I feel like reading comprehension doesn't exist anymore "lmao" (only these stupid little acronyms)

I personally don't care much about rumors but it gives people something to talk. I haven't created any thread but I'm participating in the discussion. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG with that "lmao"... I mean this whole armchair GM section is mostly just hypothetical already... No need to get up in arms about this "lmao"

I mean, some people seriously need to give their head a shake... "lmao"

The complete and utter irony that you imply I don't have reading comprehension when I clearly didn't rebuttal the first comment as a rumor, but rather the second source stating that his information was likely coming from an invalid source. Also funny that much like you, I'm also "participating in the discussion" but because what I'm saying doesn't fit a hypothetical scenario that you're fantasizing about I'm someone policing conversation.

But I'll see myself out now, I didn't realize using acronyms make you some sort of idiot on the Internet /s

Don't worry, I don't need to fantasize anything

If you tell me you were not trying to "police the conversation", then it's all good for me, I can give you the benefit of the doubt.

In the end, rumors are still rumors, whatever the source is (outside of a few exceptions like Bob McKenzie for example). What is important here is that Claude Giroux in Ottawa to finish his career is plausible. A lot of players finish their careers close to home because of where they are in life, etc (see Jason Spezza, David Savard for example)

Admittedly my comment on acronyms was exagerated, I use them too lol

All of that seems fair
