kessel is not getting a 1st rounder. No one wants him right now, coyotes couldn't find anything to take him off their hands this offseason

I love Anton Stralman the person but he's not a top 6 defenseman and hasn't been since before he left TB

I wouldnt move a 1st for Kessel. If hes 50% retained then id do a 2nd + sweetener if I was Sakic

Also I dont understand the increased price for a divisional rival when ARZ is not even close to being competitive and these teams only play each other once after the trade deadline. If Kessel was younger and had term/was going to extend then that would make sense but in this case it doesnt really apply
