Description
Colliton wears his number #1 coach onesie to bed every night and dreams of how smart a man he has to be to come up with the best system in the world. He dreams of raising the Stanley cup where his captain, David Kampf hands him the cup while alternate captains Erik Gustaffson and Ryan carpenter have tears in their eyes from witnessing such a genius be recognized. Colltion walks on stage at the NHL awards where Barry Trotz and Jon Cooper try to stifle their rage and jealously as the galaxy brain himself Jeremy Colliton walks on stage to accept the Jack Adams award aka Certified Genius award. Everyone claps until their hands are raw knowing that if they didnt Colliton would burst their heads like grapes with his raw telekinetic powers from sheer brainpower. Colliton smiles in his sleep. "What a great coach I am" he thinks to himself.

FIRE HIM!

I'm done. Not prepared AT ALL. Not one game

I can't watch the rest. I'm just so tired of defending this complete embarrassment.

4-0 and PIT earned ZERO of those goals. Not a single good solid play by PIT. Not one. The Hawks just give up in the middle of plays

I've stopped watching each game basically after the first period. Also I unironically think his job is still safe for this entire year no matter what happens even if the next 79 games go like this.

Yeah Detroit would easily pass, Hopefully Lucas Raymond winds up as good as Alex Debrincat.

I agree this is a good post. I honestly don't know what I'd do here. When I first saw it I thought pass so I'm going to pass.

I also don't think this Chicago would do this. DeBrincat helps them now and it will probably be at least before Raymond will have an impact like that.

Sorry my bad. I stopped reading after the first line and assumed it was just a rant about the coach. So I do think it's close.

Interesting way to think about it. If Detroit is still bad for a few more seasons, they'll have time to develop Zadina, Raymond, Berggren, Seider, Edvinsson, Albert Johansson, and maybe a couple others. Add that on top of a couple more Top 10 picks, and this team could be deadly for a while.
If they start making moves to get good now, they lose good draft position, and a couple of the good prospects. Win now, be worse later.

DeBrincat is absolutely the better player now. Raymond has been showing that he's something special. There's really no telling who will have the better career at this point. I'd pass on that trade. Best to see how Raymond develops instead of risking winding up with a great player in Debrincat instead of a legit superstar that Raymond could potentially be.
