Honestly, I don't think Leddy was a Lou guy at all. I do believe though, he will trade for Hampus Lindholm and give up a 1st + Kieffer Bellows.

Top 5 pick in a strong draft isn't happening, Especially for an injured Eichel Detroit could easily get Shane wright and i'll take him any day over an injured Jack Eichel.

This is actually nothing close to a Lou move. He just traded Leddy 4 months ago because he’s not a good defenseman , he wouldn’t give up more to get him back. A Lou move would be trading for a giordano or lindholm.

Also the redwings aren’t allowed to retain salary on Leddy.

Hard pass from Detroit. Not enough quality assets in the pipeline to trade that much for a 100% healthy Eichel.
