Yea, and finished 3rd in the division after Carolina and Florida! Since Kuch is done for the season and with Vasil sporting a 3.25 .890% , will they even make the playoffs?

Who cares get in and win the Cup all that matters back to back baby

Regular season means nothing as long as you make the playoffs something Detroit knows very little about lately. 6 years no playoffs damn that would suck

Not in this lifetime, buddy. Tampa's window is closed, and without the best GM in the game running the show anymore, its going to be a long, painful rebuild. Hope you like football, chump!

GM Stevie Y 0 cups GM Julian Brisebois 2 Keep telling yourself whatever you need to convince yourself haha
As Steve Yzerman himself said Julian had as much to do with building this team as I did when JBB took over as GM

More like Yzerman - 3, JBB - 2*. And I agree, Steve Yzerman is a kind, humble man.

Honest .... as a GM he has zero he was being truthful and they don't go back to back with Yzerman because Yzerman doesn't make the Coleman or Goodrow trade

They also don't go back to back if they had to play a full regular season plus an additional 9 million dollars of cap space

Since you obviously started following hockey 2 years ago, I forgive your ignorance.

Also, Detroit has won 4 cups in that time. Try again, genius

I’m gonna guess Montreal with Guy Lafleur because they got that pick from the Golden Seals and were also winning cups at the time, and now I’m gonna check my answer.

      ———————————————

Just checked, the Canadiens were correct, but I went a bit too far by guessing Lafleur (they actually won the cup and drafted him less than a month later), it was actually Michel Plasse in 1968, just 3 drafts earlier.
