Id love to get Bertuzzi but the Rangers wouldnt trade Schneider for Eichel so I doubt they would do it for Bertuzzi. If you would do it with a different prospect and a pick maybe it could work

Kravtsov has potential but he is unproven and I don't see Yzerman trading Bertuzzi for a winger who couldn't make the Rangers. Bertuzzi is good for at least 20 goals a season and that will most likely go up as the team around him gets better. Schneider is an RD that projects to a 2nd pair defenseman at best. Detroit has Hronek and Seider on that side already. Then there is Lindstrom big strong defensive defenseman he doesn't add much offensively but as a 3rd pair defenseman you don't expect him to. He is also the reason Stecher has yet to play a game.

Value seems right, but as some have already said the Rangers aren’t trading Schneider. Kravtsov would be nice but it’s definitely possible he doesn’t make this team, which wouldn’t help the issue.

Rangers can't really afford the cap difference. Two years till UFA Bertuzzi really doesn't help the Rangers. They need cheap Schneider on the roster if not now, soon.

Just really like the player. He's a component thats hard to come by. Never said he was untouchable but only that he isn't going to be thrown away.

Nope it's very doubtful Kravtsov would even make Detroit's roster we've far better players in our pipeline. RD is our strength along with LD so Schneider isn't a need. Detroit passes and Drury isn't dealing Schneider.
