New Management and keep Jack

Description
Obviously not gonna happen but imagine
I think new managment could lead Buffalo down a path to become cup contenders in 5 years time. I say keep Eichel and give him the C. Get him some wingers in free agency. Skinner might not become what he was but even if he bounces back to be worth half his contract and I say very possible under new managment. We start young and our players will grow and here comes lord stanley

The sabres need high end forwards. Pass hard on the anaheim deal. No desire to pay a goalie that much, and thats on top of paying that to acquire him. Girgensons probably should be moved at some point, but we are thin down the middle, and somebody has to take d zone faceoffs. Eakin is awful, if we can move him for nothing, we should.

It would've been nice to know about this before the Sabers traded Reinhart and Risto.

I was thinking we let the guys in the lineup take control this year and take it from there. The goal isnt to be good this year but to give young guys playing time and developing our players

Ownership is clearly the ones giving the marching orders on that Eichel Debacle.

Also i just dont see Price waiving his 100% full NMC for BUF.
His wife's business is in Montreal and Buffalo fashion industry is a big step down.

Unless its New York, Seattle or California i just dont see why he'd waive.
He'll need the team to contend and his family needs it to work for them.
After taking this time off clearly he value's his mental health and going to BUF would destroy that (just ask Lehner)

I’d want Girgensons more than Eakin, prices should be swapped IMO. Detroit probably declines (no need for bottom 6 centers atm) and Seattle probably accepts.

Habs are not trading Price for that, especially after he lead them to the SCF while injured.

MTL rejects and counteroffers with a conditional 7th round pick for Eichel at 100% retained salary.
