I mean shaws on ltir, he isnt touching the cap. You're gonna have to give a real asset for strome.

Shaw is practically a positive asset at this point, don't see why CHI would deal him.

Shaw is on career ending LTIR and has zero value, Both Strome and Namestnikov's value are no more then a 3rd rounder. This is more then a fair offer.

Shaw helps teams hit the cap floor when his salary is already covered; that is what they are referring to. In other words, the Hawks don't need to move him and shouldn't have negative value towards a trade.

Not just hit the cap floor but his LTIR gives them cap forgiveness. They can go over the cap with him on the roster.
