For Radulov, a prospect in the Jack Finley/Jack Thompson tier & a 2nd Round Pick with some kind of condition that if he scores X amount of points that it becomes a 1st

They’re gonna pull the same thing they did last year and trade some picks for Tarasenko

Since TBL does not have strong picks Sharks will require some top notch prospects which you also don't really have. Gonna have to pass.

I would consider Cirelli and a couple 1st's.

HAHAHA Cirelli >>>> than Hertl alone, and couple 1st's.

Sharks will do good to get a prospect and a 2nd for Hertl, maybe closer to the deadline you could get 1 1st rounder.
Devil liked this.

Outside of his one season with 35 goals, their Offensive numbers are similar in the regular season, and they are both similarly skilled on the D side of the puck,
However, Cirelli has more playoff experience, a higher Faceoff percentage, and is 3 years younger with another year left at 4.8, Hertl is a rental most likely and you would have to deal with him as a UFA this offseason which will likely push above his current 5.6.
So Cirelli alone is too high an ask for Hertl, which would have high Team and Trade Value than Hertl.

Absolutely laughable take. Cirelli is very good and underrated, but nowhere near as good as Hertl overall. And a prospect + 2nd is a joke of a return too lmfao.

It's all about the money, you are trading for a rental at best, and then what is his Cap high going to be after you have to negotiate for him. With the flat cap and the contract he most liley will get this summer, it hurts his Trade value a lot.

Cirelli has another year left and lower Cap hit after that and 3 years younger. Much more cost certainly

this doesn’t make sense for either club, your woefully undervaluing Hertl and his deal would just hurt your long term. we would have to retain 50% meaning you would have to pay a 1st, 2 2nds and a top prospect for what in essence is a rental

Hertl is 3x the player in every facet of the game.

Tampa laughs and hangs up at Cirelli+2 1sts for Hertl. Hertl is a better player for now, but Tampa would never give up that package. Cirelli and at most 1 1st or a 2nd that could become a 1st maybe.

Best case would be maybe Cirelli, a 1st and a 3rd for Hertl with retention, if Tampa wanted to go with Hertl over Cirelli moving ahead and if an extension with Hertl was already essentially agreed to. Tampa would never make the trade without an extension basically a done deal.
