I think there’s better options on the Islanders than Palmieri too. Good guy, good player, but there’s a few guys who are tenured longer, play better, and or have more experience too

For Dallas I’d go either Klingberg or Pavs over Segs.

Yeah never on my life, he’s an AHL level player that coaches and GM’s love for some odd reason. Just a warning he’ll destroy your brain cells by watching him, that’s coming from personal experience. At least he’ll get a low pick at the deadline from a contender.

I really like Cogliano for this bevause he is a great guy I've heard and seems like a Vet with great leadership qualities.

I guess, he just really frustrated me when he was in Dallas. Him and Comeau were basically the hockey versions of dumb and dumber.

Being the best player has very little correlation to being a good captain. That isn’t really what is the deciding factor
He’s also probably the Bruins fourth best player. Definitely not the best. Mcavoy is the best player on the Bruins, and there isn’t really anyone close to him, but marchand is closest.
Pastrnak is UFA sooner than marchand.
