Nick Robertson will miss a minimum of 10 weeks after suffering a non displaced fracture of his right fibula. This takes him out till at least the new year. Feel so bad for the guy, he worked so hard in the offseason, great rookie camp, was really looking forward to him and Ho-Sang just dominating the AHL this year. I am sure this is going to be hard on him mentally but hope he comes back even stronger.

He has been so unlucky with injuries. He would be up there with names like Jack Hughes and Kirby Dach if didn’t get injured last year and now this year.

It's the one thing that could get in the way of him reaching his true potential is his durability: getting injured for long stretches (three times in four months during his first season of professional hockey) and now this one. Totally freak accident but does cause worry. He is a fearless attacker, which puts him in dangerous spots from time to time.

This was from October 26th.

The Marlies say he’ll miss a minimum of ten weeks. Which would put his timeline around the first week of January.
Nick Barden does a great job covering the Marlies. Worth a follow if you are on Twitter.

It’s something you never want to see in any sports league
