Soucy is SO overrated on this site. He's an overpaid 3rd pairing guy. I get that Barrie isn't good defensively, but he's a top-10 offensive defenseman in the league on a great contract. That has much more value that this.

why? keith and ceci have played well so far. despite the narrative.

soucy brings a bit more size and physicality to the 3rd pairing along with samorukov.

barrie is great offensively but bouchard will be ready to take his spot next yr.
