Cale Makar is definitely in the top 5, but he's not #1. I expect a #1 or top 5 defenseman to be #1 in all areas of the ice for their team. Makar doesn't kill penalties. Fox and Hedman are #1 in 5 on 5, PP, and PK for their teams. They are better than Makar all around

Weegar is better than Carlson. Weegar isn't in the Top 10, but definitely better than Carlson

No they aren’t makar is also good at defense and kills penalties, makar is the best d man in the league
