You know how tank seasons have their own little names (Suck for Luck, Lose for Hughes, Pain for Shane, etc.)? What would one for Connor Bedard be called? Personally I like “Get Hard for Bedard”.

Fall hard...

Right now I’m 5’6 120lbs. I play football. In football I play defensive line which is fun. And in lacrosse I play goalie which requires a lot of mental strength which I lack. I go to the best lacrosse program in the country St Anthony’s High School. My mental health is very important. I go to the gym once a week. I just have to find time. Football ends soon so that’s my goal. Getting bigger

You can train your mental health just like going to the gym.

I'm done watching the game

At least Dawson and Zacha played well. PP looks pretty solid this year, even w/o Hughes. Zacha is gonna break out this season. I'm thinking 25+ goals and 50+ points.

Does that really count as a breakout? He was on pace to beat those marks last year.

@sevenleg @capsfan2121 @esoyeezus69

Jake Sanderson has 7pts in 6 games while leading his team in almost every stat. Those numbers are a small sample size but so far on par with the numbers Makar was at in his sophomore year while being 8 months younger than what Makar was. That’s a guy known for his defence but he’s improved his offence. The drop off between Chabot-Zub and our 2nd pairing has been massive. Once Sanderson arrives, the dynamic will change so quick. This team will be insane

He was on pace for that last year. A full breakout year would be 30+ goals and 65+ points

His career highs are 17G and 35 points. I would say there's a huge difference between on pace and actually doing it. 65 points would be incredible.

I had him 4th in my mock draft. Good to see that I wasn’t wrong.

I mean I haven't had the result yet, but it's not looking good. The teacher stinks. The class average will be something like 38% based on what I've heard in the elevator after the exam lol.

I can’t stand it when the teacher sucks and that’s why you fail. Happened to me in bio last year. Like no emphasis on “this is important” or “make sure you memorize this bc it’s foundational” smh

I wasn’t a big fan of taking him at 5 way before the draft, I didn’t even want Drysdale btw because I really wanted Raymond to drop to 5th, Raymond is insane btw, makes me sick he’s in our division. But closer to the draft Sanderson became my 2nd choice to be picked and Lundell was my 3rd. I really get why they took Sanderson over Drysdale. Had we picked Drysdale , he would’ve been paired with Chabot or Brannstrom and that D would’ve been way too soft, none of these 3 guys is a really good defender. Also the Sens probably saw Sanderson is elite defensively and had way more offence than he had shown. Had he shown offence before the draft, he probably would’ve been 4th. Had he been a RD and shown offence, he would’ve went 1st lol.

Who knew that overworking your starter, having a not great defence and forwards who all are slumping would lead to losing

It was a shortened season so you got to take that into account
He was on pace for 29 goals and 57 points. It would be good to see if he can actually can break it. But 25 goals and 50 points should be very doable

I’m the only one in my family that’s over 5”9, everybody else are 5”9 and under, so I can’t relate.

Don't worry dude, you have still time to grow. I'm 6'1'' and I was like 20 when I peaked. People are so different physically. And both of my parents are below 5'6''.

Eh, that’s you being lucky, I ain’t lucky.

Maybe, but I just can’t see it, you probably have tall ancestors or something like that, I’m taller than all of my ancestors.

The only thing I’m worried about is throwing him on the 2nd pair immediately with Zaitsev. Forcing him to drag dead weight around while facing the 2nd toughest matchups in the NHL might stall his development, which would suck. He looks like he’ll be a stud for a long time though for sure. And if he develops enough offense to run PP2 then Brannstrom becomes more expendable in trades for improvements elsewhere.

I think Holden could be a good option or even Brannstrom

Interesting take, I'd say Caufield is better right now more dynamic but once Quinn settles he could be the better all around winger.
