Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Not expecting too much change in season, but would like to see a TDL deal to get rid of some players with value.

Trade with Edmonton:
Oilers get a steady dman who hasnt been too good this season but has shown to be an effective shutdown player in playoffs. Toffoli is at a good cap hit, and can probably put up 30+ beside McDavid on the top line. Also not bad defensivly, and can help them make a real push for playoffs.

For montreal, we get a solid prospect who is a power forward and i've always liked his game (played against him in real life). He wont be a crazy scorer, but I can see him developing into a Tkachuk style player, like Anderson but hopefully more consistant.

Trade with Ottawa:
They have said they want to challenge for playoffs, but realistically that wont happen. They get a young forward that is solidly defensive and has offensive upside (remeber when he scored like 18 as a rookie). Fits their core's age, and prob needs a change of scenery and a chance to play farther up a lineup.

I'd do this from Ottawa's perspective

I like Lehkonen and he could be a solid 4th line player for them (or even 3rd when injuries)

Sens always seem to have a ton of injuries anyway so no matter if we think "not enough spots", why not if we sign him short term and then flip him again when not needed anymore
