Why is everyone giving up so much for Strome when a second gets it done? If you want to overpay go a 2nd + 3rd don't send prospects and roster players. If you need to move cap then you make separate trades

If a 2nd rounder would be enough to get him there's at least half the league that would be fighting over him as center depth (As a rental or long term) for their middle six. Price must be much higher than people think for him to still be an Hawks.

Hawks are pushing for the playoffs. Asking for a NHL level player able to help right now would make sense.
