TB isn't trading Playoffs Killorn. Why on earth would TB trade Killorn for Stromme?

They wouldn't and killorn would not want to go to a team that looks like they wont make the playoffs either. which makes all the trades pointless

Agreed however I was hoping the author would give some kind of rational explanation.

Add a 2nd to the Strome trade and maybe Tampa would consider but I doubt it, Killorn is much better

I just thought Strome is 8 years younger, with 1 year less than Killorn, but I think RFA compensates for that. I feel like he can have a longer future than Killorn in Tampa and could do well with Cirelli and/or Stammer. I like Killorn, but I think he might decline in the near future. Also, Tampa saves 1.45M in cap this year (and maybe next year, if they sign Strome for less than 4.45M, which will probably happen).

Killorn has had his best 2 seasons of his career the last 2 seasons and is a playoff beast.

Hawks aren't making the playoffs. And Killorn sure isn't waiving for Chicago.
