An unrealistic playoff run caused the 2021-22 expectations to be too high. This team is worse than the team that barely made the playoffs last season...

We did everything in our power to build a strong forward group that can bring the attack in waves, wear out a defense, and poke and prod in different ways to find goals.
Means nothing when you are playing a "defensive" system which relies on a number of sub-par defenders that can't get the puck out of the zone with consistency or control, and don't have lights out goaltending behind them.
