Correct me if I’m wrong, but Seattle cannot just trade Barre-Boulet this season because Tampa will have the right to reclaim him just like if they tried to put him on waivers.

COL isn’t doing that. Girard at $5M for the next 5 seasons being only 23 is worth a whole lot more than a 29yr old Toffoli, a pending UFA dman, and a 1st. Plus the trade puts COL over the cap. Easy no.
