I would take Fabbri over strome all day.
Don't see why Philly would do that. They might have interest in Bertuzzi but they aren't moving konecny for him.

EDM would use their 1st on a goalie.

PHI trade is just why. Konecny is like 24/25 why would they trade him

No thanks, Robby Fabbri > > > > Dylan Strome. Wings don't need Dermott just give us the 3rd rounder for Namestnikov. Sorry but Travis Konecny isn't that much of an upgrade over Tyler Bertuzzi hard pass over that cost. Sure on the Leddy trade.

No he doesn't, Fabbri if he has a great season before the TDL, He'd easily return a late 1st or 2 2nds. Strome isn't going to return anything close to that.

Still a no, that's a no brainer right there. Fabbri could easily resign in Detroit and yeah if he has a good season could get a better return than strome is worth I believe.

I'd consider the 1st for RHD (as would half the league). Barrie has been hot garbage through 3 games. I mean he was a dumpster fire defensively last year too but at least had some offence to go with it.

...I could also just be bitter that Barrie is the only player on my fantasy team without a point. Figured with the Oilers having 5 PPG already he'd manage to at least get an assist bumping it to Connor or Drai.

Bertuzzi unvaccinated, with COVID hanging around, is not worth Koneckny straight up (age, better contract 4 yrs left at 5.5mil instead of 2 at 4.75mil), but Philly wouldn;t be adding, DET maybe.

Philly would be intersted, but not for Koneckny.

Ok, what are you talking about. Strome is only a year younger had less points in more games last year and has played zero games this year. He is no the trade block, and no one has either ponied up what Bownan wants or no one wants him. Yes Fabbri is a UFA at seasons end, but he could easily resign with Wings.

To say Strome who is a center has more value just because he is a RFA, is not correct when he can not even make it into a game.

All predicated on "if he has a good season" but as of now TODAY Fabbri doesn't have more value as a UFA, if they were both RFAs then hands down Fabbri

"What am I talking about"

This is easy. Strome is a year younger, a RFA most importantly and a center. All those things matter in evaluating a players worth. Strome is also a player who demonstrated he can produce 57 points in a 78 games season, Fabbri has not put up 57 points in a season yet, albeit off to a good start this year.

Regarding Strome's production last year, often missed by commentators on here like yourself, Strome had a concussion at the first part of the last season in which he tried playing through and looked awful before finally coming to the team and saying he believes he had a concussion and after medical evaluation found to be true and was out of the lineup. He returned and then had a ankle injury which he struggled with the remainder of the season. That is why his production fell off a cliff.

Regarding not being in the lineup this year, our junior coach is asking the forwards to all play back in the d zone in man coverage and not focus on offense but focus on defense and transition. Obviously, with or without Strome that has not worked for the Hawks and his system is highly criticized by analysts, the media, fans and even discrete not named NHL staff. This is not about Strome not being a good player, it's about our coach and what he wants in his system. Strome obviously is not very good defensively so yes, the thought is the Hawks are looking to trade him, but the rumors are, the Hawks are looking to trade him to someone who will take on Shaw's LITR cap hit as our GM Bowman hates carrying LITR players (Seabs, Hossa, etc). The other speculation in Chicago is Strome is also insurance for Toews to ensure he is able in his return to last and to see what Johnson and Borgstrom offer if anything in the 3C role. Either way, keeping Strome out is asset protection, but for the record, almost all analysts, media, and unnamed NHL staff are baffled by the approach of our coach and GM with Strome as he is a proven .60ppg player in the right system with a transition players on the wings.

Sorry that is lengthy but there is usually more then meets the eyes. As of the start of the season, yes I believe Strome has more value as of now as a RFA. At the TDL it is a different discussion and depending on how each plays during the course of the year. If both were RFAs then it's a no brainer that Fabbri is worth more.

Naw he's only on a 82 point pace this season, Leddy is easily worth a late 1st round pick.

tears of joy

It's been 3 games. Might as well hand Buffalo the Cup, huh?

tears of joy

Leddy has been declining for several years now, it's easy to see why NYI parted ways with him this year.
