Now I don't think the Leafs who are in a win mode would do that trade at TDL. But Pens shouldn't do that trade after the season. Just sign Reilly, keep the picks and Poulin.

Rielly at anything above 7 would be an absolute disaster. Also no way the pens do that trade.

I am basing this heavily on the Seth Jones trade and signing. Plus, Brian Bruke who is currently president of hockey operations of the Penguins loves Rielly

So what you’re saying is that because Burke who isn’t GM or responsible for signing/acquiring players is part of the organization, that he is just gonna override the GM? Idk how many times pens fans have to say this, but Burke in no way is in charge of acquiring players. That is all Hextall’s job. Burke has no influence. See Carter deal for example. That was 100% Hextall and wasn’t even on Burke’s radar of even being a realistic possibility.
