I haven't been paying attention, but why is Jones on IR? Another question; do you see Lodnia as a positive asset? He's currently refusing assignment to the ECHL for the Wild.

At face value this looks like a steal for MN.

I think it basically boils down to just Jones for the 3rd. Lodnia would more than likely be just a throw in and a case of Anaheim taking a flyer on the kid.

Also keep in mind that because Iowa is pretty well stacked with talent at the moment its not surprising Lodnia didn't make the cut for the team. He's been leapfrogged by a lot of new faces in the system. And while the Ducks have a pretty decent AHL lineup themselves, I wouldn't say it would be too hard for Lodnia to make their AHL roster.

I could see Guerin making that trade too. Otherwise, I'm not sure why he's in IR. I see what I can dig up on it.

How did Manson's trade value change that much??? I would take Manson for a 3 and a 4. Last year at the TD ANA wanted a 1st and a prospect. Also Manson stoped a trade to Winnipeg last year.

Winnipeg doesn't have the cap space or need for Manson.

Manson's value isn't high, but some GM would pay more for him, even if it's just for "grit".

Ducks probably shouldn't do that Eichel trade. I doubt Buffalo would accept anyways.

Why would the Ducks trade a 4th in maybe the best draft since 2015 and Steel (who's younger and under team control) for Mikheyev?

I really want to know this ‘source’

I don’t like any of the trades, maybe Florida but highly doubt they do it

I think the Wild would just give Lodnia to any team for free. I think a contract termination is on the horizon for him; which might be best for both parties. He could go overseas or possibly sign an AHL contract for teams that need depth.

That Florida trade is not it. Tippett is already as good as Rakell and he is seven years younger and plays on an ELC

What source? And Florida isn't dealing Tippett for a pending UFA in Richard Rakell.
