yes they would be gone next year if they made this trade, which is why I dont think it makes any sense for the Avs. You cant re-up a top 6 winger in Bura, you lose a 2c in Kadri and tradea way a 2C/top 6er in Newhook. There is 0 second line talent to play with Eichel. Kaut would be the next nhl ready guy to play in the middle 6 as well. IMO eichel doesnt solve anythign fo the avs just makes glaring holes even bigger
