I don't understand why the Ducks would do this. The 2nd and the 1st have similar value. Let's say the Ducks pick is between 36 and 42 in maybe the best draft since 2015 and the Leafs pick is in the 20's in 2023 (not a bad draft class at all, but not quite as good as 2022 imo), then, with good drafting, you could get players of similar value. And giving up Comtois, Stolarz and a 5th for a RD that wouldn't clear waivers (assuming Manson is still in Anaheim when this trade happens), a goalie who might not even be needed next season and a good prospect that isn't NHL ready is not something I think the Ducks would do.

He isn't even a C😂

And it's something the Ducks do sometimes. He hasn't had the best start to the season, but it's only 4 games.

So, he's not even a C. Amirov is good enough to warrent a ok trade here, not a Matthews for whoever.

I thought it was a bad trade so I used a little bit of sarcasm to state it

Next time I’ll just say nah, that ain’t it

I mean normally the sarcasm is just a reverse trade not something of way more value, like if someone traded Dahlin for let's say Zacha, I'd respond with Hughes for Eakin or something.

I hope ur saying the trade is a fleecing from the ducks side, cuz thats what it is. Amirov has better potential than comtois, mrazek>>>stolarz, plus we are giving up holl and a first for a 2nd and 5th lmfao

maybe because amirov has better potential than comtois, holl can be reflipped for a 2nd, maybe more due to his right shot and good contract, mrazek is way better than stolarz and a first, no matter the year, is better than a 2nd.

team by team:

Comtois had a really good year last year, they arent just dumping that. you need to overpay or dont come to the table. whats going back isnt enough to get that done.

Minny has no room for tavares. nor do i think tavares would waive to go there. its Toronto or bust for him.

Nick paul for kerfoot makes sense. i actually think its a bad deal for toronto to do.

the vegas deal i think theyd rather mcnabb because hes a really big pk guy for them. i think vegas would rather add reliable vets vs kind of unproven guys.

Yes, Romirov has more potential. But there is no guarantee that he'll ever be as good as his potential suggests.

Holl is not worth a second and you say that as if you could just always flip someone. If no one were willing to trade for Holl, what would the Ducks do then? (I do think someone would trade for him, but it wouldn't be a 2nd.)

Yes, Mrazek is better, but he has had some injuries the past few years and he is injured again. It's more important for Gibson to have a backup that is healthy and plays on a regular basis than to have a backup that's better than the previous backup, but might get injured again.

Holl is maybe worth a 2nd because of his contract, but teams will overvalue him due to his RH shot, team controlled cost friendly contract, and very good defensive results (mainly because of muzzin)
