as minnesota i would take this just purely because of rask´s contract, last year he was not good and if he keeps this up its a steal, but as Chicago I would never make this deal because you could get way more value out of him. i think a third and a player that is worth something would be better, but victor rask has negative value to me, unless he scores like 40 points. also I tink strome would play bottom 6 mins anyway because of their forwards, but maybe he wold fit in as third or second line idk

looking at his stats his value is more than I thought as he scored 23 pts in 54 games last year, but I still feel that Chicago could get a little more value from minnesota

How can you constantly argue that Greenway is worth a 1st, but decide Strome is at max worth a 3rd? Your argument is always “GMs overpay at deadline, look at Nick Foligno.”

Except, Strome was never benched last year. He still played. He just moved to the wing for the season. That's it.

Strome is likely only being benched right now because Chicago is looking to move him. They're just being cautious. If he played, there's a chance he could get hurt. So they're just trying to avoid that, and not wreck what value he does have.

I generally look at more than one game to determine a players value. I’m not saying Strome is worth a 1st, I just think it’s funny that if someone offered a 3rd for Greenway, you’d tell em to pound sand. But when it’s a 3rd for Strome, it’s the most realistic proposal you’ve seen.

Because like I said, I did my research in strome. We t to Google, looked up how many games he was a healthy scratch, looked up injury games because of concussion/ head injuries which I have myself and I just truly value other c's besides strome
