Easy no from Florida and Arizona, Toronto and Edmonton might accept though, depending on how Toronto views Miller imo

The most impressive part about this is that the Panthers trade not only puts the team $3+ mil over the cap for this season, but also puts them over the cap for 2022-23, at which point they'd only have 15 roster players signed.

Big no from the Oilers. Bouchard is looking good and we don't have the depth to take a chance with someone else on RHD. Oilers need to be in "win now" mode and that means keeping guys like Bouchard.

The following year -6m + -2m(need to shed 2 big caps =2x1m replacements) = 8m cap. Which would have to be Weeger & Trouba buyout considering ntcs and no tradable cap left. Plus no perfectly cheap young stud D group left KAM Lindgren Nils BSchneider Jones lol. One of KAM/Lindgren's cap will have to go for a cheap C after 23 as it is, let alone buying big and trading NMCs. It's all about future cap, not just us, 90% of teams will be maxed out (or internal cap) by end of 4x 1m flat cap, till start of 27.
