I wouldnt trade Dvorak-- hes a solid middle six center.

yes, but to get talent, you need to give up talent. I'm basing off the "Equivalent of 5 firsts" thing Buffalo came out and said

you cant trade both firsts since one is promised in the Dvorak trade, and if you are keeping the MTL first this season it will go to ARZ.

Dvorak isnt carrying that trade nothing there for Buffalo to consider. Also if MTL thinks this season is lost they trade for Eichel, but he wont help them in the short term

MTL declines, we're not giving up Romanov as we kinda need him on D with Edmundson out and our D sucks, we just acquired Dvorak for a pretty hefty price, he's not getting flipped, Eichel is also injured so until he's deemed healthy we're not giving up 4 prime assets for him

You are already over the cap ceiling AND you didn't consider Suzuki's 7M raise yet + Byron's return.

Not anywhere close to be realistic.

Some wordy conditions there: The better of Montreal/Carolina's 2022 1st round pick BUT if either or both are top 10 picks then Montreal will instead transfer to Arizona the worse of Montreal/Carolina's 2022 1st round pick.
