He's very aggressive, fast...I still think he's got potential. He wants to be/ CBJ keep playing him at C, but more and more I'm thinking he should stick at LW. I think if he's still having trouble by the end of the season, you could see CBJ fielding offers. Once Johnson, Marchenko, et al. come over next season, F spots are going to get real limited real quick.

But idk, it could be worth it to look at this trade. Brannstrom is an RD, which we need. It's not necessarily pressing, and I could still see Foudy being a sweetener in another trade (*cough* Eichel *cough*), but we'll see.

Why so many Brannstrom trades lately?

Brannstrom is left handed, so could really play either side. CBJ restocked the cupboard with forwards, but pretty thin at D, so could help the depth in the future. Obviously an Eichel trade would be cool, just not sure it’s the move they need to make right now

I think they’d prefer a natural RD.

And yeah, it doesn’t necessarily have to be Eichel, but really just any larger package.
