Leafs won't give you a third rounder for a guy that has less goals than Polak

But if I'm DET I would let Liljegren have the year to develop in Grand Rapids, he's missed a lot from injury/mono and there's no need to play on the worst team in the league next year

Agree that Liljegren will need a year in the minors, No way would Holland just bring Liljegren too the team without at least spending one season in the minors. Would love Liljegren this year and Dahlin next year both would go a long ways in rebuilding our blueline.
