I don't think the NHLPA can do anything to help him since he is actively going against the NHLPA signed CBA. I could be wrong though.

I thoroughly appreciate the name similarities in the Ottawa trade and feel that Emmy Bemmy is underrated, but seems quite low for Branny

I know Emmy Bemmy is kinda silly

But con sarn it it's also kinda awesome

Buffalo can't really build around Laine tho

Not to mention he's a hugely flawed player

      Corsi and Defense

      If it was Bjorkstrand tho

Now that'd be interesting: elite W on great contract

I dont see Buffalo doing this. Wouldnt it also be better for Columbus to get Eichel to play with Laine??

A trade i would like is:

      1st
      Foudy
Sillinger/Johnson (IDK if u guys would trade one of them for Eichel)
      Bjorkstrand

I only see CBJ doing the trade if they can keep Sillinger and Bjorkstrand. Not sure just how untouchable Johnson is, but my guess is they want to avoid it.

If nothing else can be put together based on that, I’d probably walk.

I can see a lot of teams taking that Korpisalo deal, but Carolina aren't one of them. Edmonton might be of interest though...

Korpisalo is literally one of the worst goalies in the NHL right now. Both of Carolinas goalies are better than him. Why would they pay to acquire him?

Mike Smith is 101 and on IR right now would be why. If his injuries keep up, Edmonton will 100% be looking for a decent back up, which Korpi is. I know they get out of the Koskinen deal this summer, but even so.

Korpisalo is not a decent back up. He's legit terrible.

A conditional 2nd is FMV for Korpi - good G, small but stellar playoff record, no injury concerns, is cheap, and is not 472 years old.

We’re three games into the season and as of right now, Koskinen and Bob would be Vezina finalists, which is not going to hold over 40-50 starts. Might not for Korpi either, but for as much badgering as people on this forum want to do, if any team needs any change in G at or before the trade deadline, Korpi is likely your best option.

Yeah, a 1st is pretty optimistic - he’d have to play at the 70+ point level he did a few seasons back. FWIW, he did look phenomenal those few games before he got injured.

Buffalo doesn’t even think about it if Sillinger or Johnson are not involved.

You say Bob won't be a Vezina candidate? The dude is known for either sucking or winning the thing

Awwww come on…he only had like, two bad seasons with CBJ.

      And hey, maybe he does.

Then he’s gotta deal with the playoffs.

He's got to deal with the playoffs. But, he either wins the Vezina or struggles
