Filip Forsberg is one, but he's a LW.

Another one is Phil Kessel but he's aging and probably wants to sign with an American-based team.

I guess Rickard Rakell? He's a UFA in the summer, RH shot, but I think plays any forward position really. He's had some quieter years recently but could be a good get for not too huge a cap hit.

I don’t want low end guys. We need Tarasenko before his injuries type guy

I mean other than maybe Tarasenko, I don’t see anyone like that going on the market.

Timo Meier fits your age range, but he’s regressed points & goals-wise 2 seasons in a row. Or Labanc, but he’s not as good of a goal scorer or big of a piece.

The thing is no one is willing to trade a young 40 goal scorer, especially since there’s only a handful in the league that fit your description.

Probably.
Gallagher or Boeser maybe?
Debrincat if Hawks really tank.
Or go a little younger and get Kaliyev type.
Or roll the dice with Dmitry Rashevsky.

No to Gallagher , getting old on a longterm deal. I’m thinking of guys like Kubalik, Boeser, Meier etc. that level of player

Not sure about Kubalik.
Boeser will cost an arm and leg.
Meier will cheaper, but has that contract issue.

I’d go for young guy. Kaliyev, Perrault, Fa-gemo, Foerster, Reshevsky, etc.

The Sens passed on Kaliiyev in the draft. Not sure they’re a fan . Who’s Reshevsky?

Well, I’d hope it ends with Dach, Reichel and Mitchell to Ottawa then
