This would kill the Blues for this season so I don't see them making a move for Eichel

You're right. Giving up two starters, for a guy who may not play this season, and in effect adding two first rounders.....a massive overpay. Doubt if Taresenko M NTC includes Buffalo

Hard pass. Don't need a C, don't want the 10M health risk or to put the salary structure out of whack, aren't trading Thomas... all the usual hits.

Blues easily decline, no need for 1C due to O'Reilly.

You are all correct.
Buffalo would kill to get that sort of return for Eichel.
IDK if adding two players as Thomas and Tarasenko would kill the chemistry the team has developed but I could only imagine adding two RW to the line up (I know Thomas is listed as a center man and Tarasenko shoots left).
Two NHL forwards another first and a decent prospect.
Skinner I think needs another player on his wing to bring out the best in him.
Thomas then becomes the Sabres 2nd line RW and Olofsson swings back to LW with Thompson as the center.
This trade would effectively end any hopes of finishing last, but IMO the team would be 5-0 if they had another finisher as Tarasenko.

Thomas is a C, and he is NOT available.

You clearly made out like Thomas was a RW, bruh. And you clearly made out like it was feasible for Buffalo to acquire him. Either way, take it down a notch or seven. You'll bust a vessel.
