I guess the question is whether Seattle is better off having 4 years of Eichel or two high first rounders on ELCs, and 9m in cap space.

So the Columbus Bluejacket equivalent of the trade above for Eichel would be:

Kent Johnson
Andrew Peeke
Conditional 2023 1st

This is a huge risk for any team given Eichel’s current injury status.

No I’m just becoming more realistic about the Sabres ability to move Eichel without letting him get the surgery he wants and willingness to lay for them for a half season to show that he is back.
