What would a Kane trade look like for the capitals

It needs a new coach. BUT still not Torts

If he got traded it would mean FULL impload. So Kane 50% retained for Kempny and Hags for 3 1sts.

I feel like Kane is undervalued here. He is still borderline elite with cup experience, and at 5mil retained you can add at least 1 high end prospect there.

Kane for Marner?

I would like to see Lapierre, 2 1st's

Marner with Debrincat could be fun. As much as I think kane should never be traded

We're in a rebuild according to Bowman.

Might work out for both teams.
Kane gives Toronto a playoff performer.
Chicago gets a younger player with more term.
Opportunity for both teams to get some 3rd party retention in the switch if needed.
Marner gets out of the spotlight of Toronto fans and media with a fresh start.

Idk how much less the spotlight would be in chicago when you get traded 1 for 1 for kaner who's a legend in the city.

Devils don’t need anymore center men

I might be crazy but I don't think Kane is a fit for the Oilers. Don't have any problem with the price, just more so Edmonton lost to Winnipeg on depth. Right now the Oilers are 3 good lines deep and while this makes the top 6 better, it costs putting a minimum wage contract on the 3rd line and likely back to 2 lines that can score and 2 lines holding on for dear life. If the Oilers are going to spend those assets, I think it would be better to try and ship Barrie out and shore up the defense.

Devils would prolly be more interested in Kane. They’re pretty good down the middle. For my Stars I’d be interested in Strome and Murphy. Would allow us to sign and trade Klinger. Murphy’s long term cap hit is much more manageable than an 8x8 deal for Klinger and Harley should help make up some of the offensive production
