i personally don't see the point of the compher trade. Compher plays a better role spot than strome does for the avs and unless strome starts to hit a stride and make it as a consistent top 6 forward i feel like we'd be moving on from him as well very soon

I like Strome, but JT is one of the few Avs forwards with actual cost certainty tied to him for another year.

If Johansson can keep playing as well as he did the other night, I’d be looking for a way to move Frankie. He’s a solid backup, but moving his $2 Million makes way more sense than moving Compher’s $3.5.

strome compher trades doesnt make a lot of sense, Strome isnt a 2nd round pick better than Compher. and Avs dont need more bottom 6 fwds in ZAR

Strome is an awful fit in COL, I wouldn’t trade Compher for him straight up.

I'm not a huge fan of Compher, but he's the better player at the moment. The Avs should chase a top 6 forward, but that's it.

I do like Chicago as a potential destination for JTC though, assuming Colorado decides to move him. He tends play well there.
