I don’t think Detroit is ready to pay that much draft capital for a pending UFA, but if it’s another team that trade might work.

Sorry but Morgan Rielly isn't worth a potential top 5 pick in a very strong draft nor a top 2nd round pick in a very strong draft. Detroit with a top 5 or top 10 pick can land a player far better then Morgan Rielly that's for sure.
