All these trades are bad for a number of reasons. Instead of writing "X team declines" like literally 75% of posts in this wasteland of a board, I'll actually walk through why:

Arizona trade: Bad for Toronto. Matthews would be deemed untouchable by any team regardless of his recent performances. A player of his calibre isn't available in every draft, so some early-to-mid first aren't going to cut it.

Buffalo trade: Eichel won't be back until the playoffs had the soonest, and losing Marner (again, despite recent performances) won't do much to push the Leafs towards making them. Additionally, the Sabres are more or less angling for futures in a return for Eichel. Trade doesn't make sense for either side.

Chicago trade: Slighty cheaper and slightly better (?) than Kerfoot, but is going to demand more in the offseason. Kerfoot is under contract for two more seasons and I don't think the Blackhawks really have a use for him over Strome.

Carolina trade: would be a rental for them; an improvement on the left side over Skeji and Cole. Honestly think the Hurricanes would accept.

San Jose trade: Awful. Tavares isn't leaving Toronto under any circumstance. Dalhen would be lucky to get first line time on a good team, and I'd rather not any team go near Kane.

Calgary trade: Has Välimäki fallen out of favor? Ritchie has been poor for Toronto and he wouldn't get suitors with a 2.5 x 2. Calgary declines this one.
