two- he actually is and considering how much defenceman get paid he is.

Reilly won't go to MTL because he is in TOR right now. He'll leave and go to a contender as MTL is not. They are a wild card team as of right now. Reilly is a good player who will sign 6x6 mil. Plus if you sign him for less you don't need Niku playing forward.

Ottawa declines. They can just resign Ennis for a year if they want a vet. I don't think a 3rd rounder is worth his contract or eating a roster spot for him.
