          One question though: Why take Dillon and trade for a 2nd when Vanecek got the same thing?

          Dillion got Washington 2 x 2nd, one of wich they traded for Vanacek. So they get an extra 2nd.

          Yes but I believe Seattle took Vanacek assuming he would be there 1B. When they saw Gru available there was no need for him anymore with Daccord

          With each game Kahkonen plays, it's becoming more clear why they didn't. I wonder if the Wild would consider sending him to Iowa and bringing up Hammond at this point.
