    Perfectly fine bottom. I know we’re hurt, but trading a first for a defenseman is about the second dumbest thing we can do, next to trading for a goalie

    When you factor in contracts and goals, Connor is far more valuable that Marner. That would be a "don't call us, we'll call you" from Winnipeg.

    Particularly if Domi comes with an extension, my response as CBJ is to retain on the remainder of the contract, and ask that the 2nd be upgraded to a 1st.
