Can't see the hawks trading kubalik and not getting a first back especially since they don't have a first for this upcoming draft

Kubalik is a fine player, but a Foote/Kuokkanen package should be able to get some solid wingers, especially if we are wiling to eat salary.

Kubs is one of the top 20 shooters and goal scorers in the league, and defensively good. Kubs is more then a fine player and more then a solid winger...the guy is a stud as a winger....very few players have outpaced his goals per games played at 0.384.

The only active players with a better gpg rate are...
1. Alex Ovechkin 0.613
2. Auston Matthews 0.592
3. Steven Stamkos 0.522
4. Connor McDavid 0.488
5. Ilya Kovalchuk 0.478
6. Sidney Crosby 0.468
7. David Pastrnak 0.457
8. Evgeni Malkin 0.451
9. Nikita Kucherov 0.429
10. Leon Draisaitl 0.420
11. John Tavares 0.416
12. Alex Debrincat .414
13. Vladimir Tarasenko 0.412
14. Brad Marchand 0.400

That's some very elite company. I get Kubalik flies under the radar and not as well noted as the other names on the list, but eye opening isn't it?

That is great but Foote and Kuokkanen can also be underrated as well. Both are younger, have a few more years of team control and fit NJD timeline well. Also, big things expected of both offensively. I’d hang onto them for now.

I get that perspective and it's not wrong, just wanted to ensure you knew Kubs is more then a "fine player".
